Terms of Service

These terms constitute an agreement between you and FATEREAD regarding your use of the Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please stop using the Service immediately and close your account.

We reserve the right to modify these terms in accordance with Section 8 below.

FATEREAD is an AI metaphysical cultural research and self-exploration platform that provides Bazi chart generation, Purple Star Astrology interpretation, compatibility matching, and related features powered by large language models.

The Service is offered at the following three membership tiers: · Chat membership: $1 / month, unlimited conversations; · Book membership: $9.9 / month, up to 5 generated Books of Destiny / Books of Fortune per month; · Compatibility membership: $19.9 / month, full 8-dimension compatibility reading with radar chart.

The Service does not provide 24/7 human customer support. All service is delivered through AI models and automated workflows.

You must register an account via email or third-party OAuth (Google, GitHub, etc.).

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Any loss resulting from password leaks or credential sharing is your sole responsibility.

If you discover that your account has been hijacked, that there is unusual login activity, or that you have been charged without authorization, contact us immediately at support@fateread.app.

A single natural person may hold only one account. We reserve the right to investigate and ban accounts suspected of multi-account abuse or promotional-code fraud.

All memberships are "pay first, serve later" and renew automatically on a monthly basis.

Payment is processed by our third-party provider Creem. Payment information you submit to Creem is handled directly by Creem; see our Privacy Policy for details.

Subscription prices may be adjusted based on exchange rates and operating costs. We will notify you at least 7 calendar days before the next renewal date. If you do not accept the new price, please cancel before that date.

Once a paid subscription period has begun, paid fees will not be retroactively refunded or supplemented due to price adjustments.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your service continues uninterrupted through the end of that period.

If you have not used any paid features within the first 24 hours of a Creem-paid subscription, you may request a 7-day no-questions-asked full refund.

Refunds are not available in the following cases: · You have already used paid features (generated Books, unlocked compatibility analysis, or held extensive conversations); · Your account was banned for violation of Section 7 below; · Subjective dissatisfaction with accuracy or outcomes — see our Disclaimer regarding AI readings.

Disputes are handled within 15 business days of receiving the request.

All content within the Service — including but not limited to software code, UI design, brand identity, chart algorithms, AI prompt engineering, and the layout templates of Books of Destiny / Books of Fortune — is the property of FATEREAD or its licensors and is protected by copyright law.

Reports you generate via the Service (such as Books of Destiny and Books of Fortune) belong to you. You may use, share, and keep them as you wish, provided you do so without harming the FATEREAD brand.

Reverse engineering, scraping, mirroring, or reselling the Service without written permission is strictly prohibited.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that: · The birth data you provide is true and voluntarily submitted (and you have obtained consent when entering data on behalf of another person); · You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose; · You will not input prompts that violate applicable laws, public order, good morals, or the legitimate rights of others; · You will not repackage AI output to deceive or defraud others.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, with no refund of unused subscription periods.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Service (or any part of it) at any time.

Material changes (such as discontinuing a core feature) will be announced via in-app message and / or email at least 30 calendar days in advance, and unused months will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

Service interruptions caused by force majeure (natural disasters, war, government action, network operator outages, major AI vendor incidents) are not our liability, but we will make commercially reasonable efforts to restore service as soon as possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FATEREAD is not liable for: · Any decision, action, or loss resulting from reliance on "inaccurate" AI readings; · Service unavailability caused by network, device, or third-party failures; · Losses caused by your disclosure of account credentials or unauthorized use of your account; · Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FATEREAD's aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total subscription fees you have actually paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (or local law for users in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan).

Disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to a court of competent jurisdiction in the place where the FATEREAD operating entity is located.

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved by FATEREAD.

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision in these terms does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
